For more than 15 years, knifemaking has been a passion of mine. I enjoy taking a piece of steel and turning it into something that is not only built to be used, but built to last—and hopefully one day be passed down to the next generation.
After nearly three decades serving in the U.S. Army, my family and I chose to make Central Texas our home, settling in Kempner in 2024. My time in the Army shaped the way I approach my work: pay attention to the details, take pride in doing the job right, and build things people can depend on.
That mindset is at the heart of 413 Knives. I create custom knives, Damascus pieces, hunting knives, kitchen knives, and everyday carry knives with a focus on craftsmanship, function, and individuality. Whether it is a one-of-a-kind piece or a dependable knife meant to be carried and used every day, my goal is the same—to build a knife that performs well, feels right in your hand, and is made to last.
Some knives will be used in the field. Some will be carried every day. Others may eventually be passed from one generation to the next.
Those are the knives I want to make.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
